Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which knowledge, skills and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training, research, or simply through autodidacitism. Generally it occurs through any experience that has a formative effect on the way one things, fill or acts.
Bihar, India has been a major centre of learning, that tradition of learning which had its origin from the time of Budha or perhaps earlier, was lost during the medieval period when it is believed that marauding armies of the invaders destroyed these centres of learning. From the British times, Bihar has had a system of district schools, located at the headquarters of the older districts of Bihar. In addition, there was private and semi aided schools which were run and administrated by local village communities. Several of them were known of their high quality education.
In spite of the poor condition of schools in Bihar, students from there are performing satisfactorily with respect to other economically better off states of India thanks to the law of affirmative action which provides for reservations in job and education for people of backward classes.
A right to education has been created and recognized by some jurisdictions. Our students has reached to peaks in education in our country. Once again, I am grateful to parents and teachers and I hope that you all will always support me.
With Best Wishes
